Happy President’s Day! Between last week’s snowstorm and this week’s school closings for President’s week, we’ve been spending way too much time inside and not enough time being active. While it may be tempting to cook lots of comfort food to warm up on these chilly days, it’s more important than usual to lighten up meals. Remember, the basic equation for weight maintenance is CALORIES IN = CALORIES OUT. So unless you’re participating in the winter olympics – or your own snow day activities – remember to keep meals nutritious and delicious!
