What you missed last week and this week’s Menu Plan Monday – Passover edition!

Menu Plan Monday | Nutritioulicious

I’m sure most of you will agree this past weekend was hectic with Passover and Easter celebrations. As a result, there’s a lot to catch up on here, so today’s post will be quick.

Here’s what you may have missed on Nutritioulicious last week:

Spring Clean Your Body with these 4 Foods – the only type of “detox” post you’ll find here!

I joined my first Pin It party and share 5 Mouth-Watering Recipes to Pin

Just in time for Passover I shared a Q&A about Kosher wine and a gourmet Kosher for Passover recipe

And here are some of the links I loved from last week:

Mini Almond Butter Snack Cups @ Eat Real Food (totally making these when Passover is over!)

How Food Blogging Changed My Ways @ Healthy Nibbles and Bits (I could totally relate and had many LOL moments!)

Honey Stewed Strawberry Rhubarb Compote @ Mom’s Kitchen Handbook (made me think of my Strawberry-Rhubarb Mimosas, which I can’t wait to make now that Spring is here!)

Why so Afraid of Milk? @ The Baking Dietitian (if you’re in the anti-milk camp you have to read this)

Should Family Dinner Trump Extracurriculars? by Aviva Goldfarb of The Six-O’Clock Scramble (fabulous article on an important topic)

  1. I loved the article on eating dinner together as a family… I’d love to hear what you are eating at your mom’s house!!

    1. Thanks Katie! Last night my mom made matzo pizza with all her grandkids (my two girls and two of my nephews). They topped the pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and bell peppers! Friday will most likely be a traditional Jewish meal with chicken soup, some sort of chicken, tzimmis, which is a sweet carrot dish that I have loved since I was a child, and I’m sure some sort of kugel as well!
