Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday! Based on the pictures I saw all over Instagram and Facebook, it certainly seems that everyone I know had a festive holiday and ate and drank a lot of delicious food over the past few days!

Monday: Taking the kids out to dinner with friends

Tuesday:  Slow Cooker Honey Orange Chicken with Broccoli and Brown Rice (I don’t have a slow cooker, so trying this the old fashioned way sautéing in a pan. Hope it comes out well!)

Wednesday: This and That: Leftovers + Pumpkin Beef Chili (medium container of leftovers from freezer)

Thursday: New Year’s Eve Menu

Appetizers: Mushroom soup shooters, Mediterranean Hummus Flatbreads, Cauliflower Buffalo Wings, Crudite and Cheese Plate (including Cranberry Pistachio Mint Goat Cheese)

Main Dish: Poached Salmon with Cucumber Yogurt Sauce, Baked Ziti, and Winter Salad

Friday: TBD (leftovers, if there are any, or takeout!)
