Thanksgiving Recipes and Menu Plan Monday: Week of November 17, 2014
In less than two weeks we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving, the US cooking holiday of the year for home cooks! (Check out more 2014 Thanksgiving trends from AllRecipes.com.) Whether you’re hosting the turkey day meal or bringing a side dish to a friend’s house, it’s always fun to get some culinary inspiration and try a new dish on the holiday. With so many Thanksgiving recipes available online, how do you choose what to make?
A few of my blogging friends have come to the rescue with Thanksgiving recipe roundups.
- Liz and Janice at the Meal Makeover Moms put together a Healthy Thanksgiving Side Dish Roundup (they very kindly included my Rosemary-Roasted Cauliflower with Raisins)
- Kara at The Foodie Dietitian has shared some sides and desserts (including my Iced Orange-Cranberry Biscotti!)
- Meme at Living Well Kitchen has over 50 recipes, sweet, savory, and everything in between
- Kristina at Love & Zest shared her list of best holiday recipes
I love trying new recipes, plus it makes menu planning so much easier! Speaking of which, here is this week’s menu.

Pistachio-Crusted Salmon sounds absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to check it out 🙂
Thanks Rose! I’m hosting a healthy holiday cooking demo for a charity in a couple of weeks and this is the entree I’m planning to make, so testing it out tonight! Stay tuned for the recipe!
I have some salmon defrosting in the fridge so I might copy your delicious idea of pistachios + cranberry sauce! Yum! I think I’ll serve it on top of kale.
Sounds delicious!!
I am loving all the round-ups! Still not sure what I’m going to whip up besides my essentials just yet!
So many good options – I could make Thanksgiving all year round with these recipes!!
A roundup of a roundup. I LOVE it. Thanks for including ours 🙂
haha…figured why recreate the wheel!!
