Menu Plan Monday: Week of January 13, 2014
Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good weekend. This weekend we had some delicious meals, including one at the newly opened Madison Kitchen in Larchmont, owned by Food Network’s Chopped winner Chef Nick Di Bona. We had some great food and drinks, including a Hawaiian Nacho Tuna Tartar, Slow Roasted Rohan Duck served with sweet potato hash, and Line Caught Grouper served with a warm grapefruit vinaigrette and beet and quinoa salad. The best part: fresh from the oven rolls and mini desserts! Another great meal we had with the kids was at Niko’s Greek Taverna in White Plains. My friend’s cousin is Nick, so we’ve been wanting to try his restaurant for a while. You can’t get better than traditional Greek food like spanakopita, gigantes, and grilled branzino. Mmmm…yum! And believe it or not, the girls ate every single thing we had! No kids’ meals here!
