GET READY…

Food Revolution Day 2013 is Friday May 17, 2013!

Food Revolution Day is a global day of action for people to make a stand for good food and essential cooking skills by focusing on three simple actions: cook it, share it, and live it. World-renowned chef Jamie Oliver started Food Revolution Day to raise awareness about the importance of good food and better food education for everyone. On Food Revolution Day people come together within their homes, schools, workplaces and communities to cook and share their kitchen skills, food knowledge and, resources.

Last year Food Revolution Day launched with more than 1,000 events that took place in 664 cities across 62 countries. @FoodRev was the third-most mentioned Twitter user, reaching over 14.6 million people through social media networks.
