  • 1/2 cup dry quick 1-minute oats
  • 1 cup nonfat or low-fat milk
  • Fresh or frozen berries or dried cranberries or cherries or other fruit of choice
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts slivered almonds (or other nut or nut butter of your choice)
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Drizzle of maple syrup or dash of brown sugar


  1. Cook oats according to package direction, using milk instead of water.
  2. Top with berries or dried fruit, walnuts, cinnamon, and sweetener of choice.
